Order Picking and Order Fulfillment Software

TheSwiftOES order picking system provides many order fulfillment software functions, such as pick wave generation, wave picking and order picking management, and carton routing. These are order picking functions typically found in the order fulfillment software of more costly warehouse management systems (WMS).

SwiftOES manages picking activities across multiple picking areas, and can employ one or more picking technologies, including RF, Voice, Pocket PC and pick to light paperless picking.

SwiftOES offers the following order picking features:

• Enforces multiple levels of order, product and location verification during the pick process to ensure accuracy
• Forecasts estimated times of completion for pick tasks, based upon labor rates
• Balances staffing levels in the various picking areas, based upon labor rates
• Provides real time monitoring of order picking progress, from the wave level down to the task level, via browser interface
